Calliope Michail is a London based poet/ translator/artist born in Athens, Greece. She is the author of the poetry chapbook Along Mosaic Roads (the87press, 2018). A leaflet of watercolour erasure poetry, The Nature of the Physical Wor(l)d was printed in 2019 by Penteract Press with more poems from the project included in the press' Science Poems anthology. She has performed collaborations with other poets at the European Poetry Festival and Camarade series. Other work has appeared in Snow Lit Rev, Datableed, Pamenar Press, Babel Notice Board, Lumin Journal 4 and Prototype. 

 

She was poetry editor for the online literary magazine, Berfrois for two years (2020-2021). Callie holds a BA in English & Creative Writing from Royal Holloway and an MA in Critical Methodologies from Kings College, London.
